Holy Week French Toast
The Spanish French toast aka torrijas I usually make dipping some bread slices in milk, then in beaten egg and frying them in olive oil. Before serving I sprinkle them with Hawaian brown sugar. This time I made the special kind for the Holy Week, very popular in Seville. I got some Wonder bread, dipped the slices in watered white wine, then in beaten egg and finally fried them in olive oil. In a separate pan I heated watered honey and used it to sprinkle the fried bread. Unbelievable taste!
Rose lassi
Blend half a glass of yoghourt, a quarter of a glass of whipping cream, a tablespoon of rose water (or orange flower water), 5 tablespoons of sugar and 5 ice cubes.
Pestiños (Southern Spanish honey fritters)

I used the reecipe of the link but the finishing touch was with honey heated and reduced with water, instead of with sugar and cinnamon: delicious.
